Project Overview
Fringe Salon and Spa was seeking roughly 3,600 square feet to serve as a new home for their growing business in Stow, Ohio. Fidei Architecture assisted Fringe’s ownership in evaluating various build-out options.
Preliminary Planning
The planning process began with the selection of a 2-acre greenfield site — which was a challenging, irregular shape. Fidei Architecture evaluated the feasibility of the location while negotiations continued between Fringe and the developer.
Schematic Design
Fringe ultimately chose to move into a vacant tenant space. Fidei Architecture provided multiple floor plan layouts for the new space and ultimately developed a scheme that perfectly matched the client’s vision.
Design Development
Fringe desired to include many of the original elements from the greenfield concepts. During the DD stage, Fidei Architecture detailed, presented, and incorporated these features into the tenant build-out design.
Construction Documents
The final construction documents were submitted to the building department and distributed for competitive bids. The permit was approved and bids were returned within the client’s budget. The results were stunning and Fringe’s business has thrived since their move.
